Originally, this table knife takes its name from the village of the same name Aveyronnais. Famous for its curved shape and adorned with a mythical bee, Claude Dozorme was the first cutler to make this knife (originally folding) a non-folding table knife.
With the success of this table knife as mythical as traditional, Claude Dozorme has since greatly enriched its range through different handles in wood or horn. In addition, Claude Dozorme has embellished this table knife with mitres at the ends of the handle, which can be found in stainless steel or brass.
Like the other table knives manufactured by the century-old manufacturer, Claude Dozorme's Laguiole table knife blade is made of stainless steel X50CrMoV15 . This steel gives this table knife an excellent cutting edge , a very good hold of the wire and easy re-sharpening of the blades .
These knives, whose manufacture is signed Claude Dozorme, are 100% made in France in the workshops of Master Knife since 1902 . All manufacturing steps are integrated internally, which guarantees artisan knives , of very high quality, 100% French.
